Benji Hicks opens up 2025 with sixth-place outing at Screven Motor Speedway

Kicking off his racing season over the weekend, Benji Hicks joined the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series for their debut weekend at Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) for the 15th-annual Winter Freeze.

With a huge field of 35 Late Models checked in, Hicks locked himself into the $5,000-to-win opener through qualifying and raced to a sixth-place finish in the 40-lap main event. On Saturday evening, Benji won his B-Main and finished 22nd in the $15,000-to-win finale.
