Benji Hicks makes Gateway Dirt Nationals debut at the Dome at America's Center

Making his first appearance at The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.), Benji Hicks rolled into the building on Thursday afternoon for his Gateway Dirt Nationals preliminary night.

Out of 66 Super Late Models, Hicks struggled to find speed in his time trial before finishing ninth in his heat race. Buried in a non-qualifier on Saturday, Benji made up four spots but still fell short of making the main event.
