Top-5 score with American All-Stars in UBB Miners Memorial at Beckley

Benji Hicks was one of 39 Late Model entries at Beckley Motor Speedway (Mount Hope, W.Va.) on Friday afternoon for the two-day UBB Miners Memorial with the American Crate All-Star Series.

Making up two spots in his heat race, Benji earned a spot in the evening's dash where he would finish fifth and start on the third-row of the $15,000-to-win finale. Hicks ran third early in the 100-lapper, but wound up with a fifth-place outing.
